The tech recommended a brake job, an oil and filter change and air filter replacement after doing an 'inspection'. In the past these are things I could do myself, but I'm recently disabled and agreed to all work except the air filter.... I can still do that. 700 dollars!! later, I get my car back, and I notice that they had placed a new 'recommended oil change mileage sticker' under the old one from another shop. I went in for new tires and ended up not only with the incorrect size of tire but with two broken hubcap centers which then cost me over $90 to replace. I figured Skips would make things right, but boy was I wrong. They claimed that the parts were already broken and about ready to fall off and refused to cover the replacement caps.
