I shopped around for my Alarm company and found The Alarm Company to be the best! The owner contacted me immediately after I submitted an inquiry on the company website. He clearly answered all of my questions and was flexible with my requests. The installation team was on time, courteous, and professional. I called The Alarm Company to takeover and upgrade our existing (inactive) ADT system. They were super responsive and arrived at our house in less than an hour (our house had been robbed the day before so they treated us as an "emergency" case which my husband and I greatly appreciated). We called for an estimate of the cost to install a new residential alarm system. We asked that parts from a previous system be used if possible. Their response was very prompt, and it was obvious from the first phone call that this was a first rate company. Recently we had to replace an old alarm system that we had disconnected because it was giving a false alarms. I have been a customer of The Alarm Company for more then 22 years. Larry Walker installed my alarm system in my very first home and has installed the alarms in my last two homes as well. I have delt with the Alarm Company over the last 10 years. Their monitoring service has been very responsive and reliable but what is outstanding, is their installation services. All I know is Larry is an approved Honeywell contractor. I wasn't a customer of his, yet when I got his number from the Honeywell distributor, he returned the call very quickly and was able to talk me through at no cost to resolve the issue I was having with my home security system. I hired The Alarm Company after remodeling my home. I had a complex configuration including a guest house. The Alarm Company was great. They installed the system, verified it and was always available if I had questions or minor issues. They would send an employee out the same day to fix any problem I had. I met Larry Walker a couple of years ago when I needed an alarm system for my business. Larry was great, got right on it and had me set up before I moved in. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop in to see how he and his staff are doing. They are all great to work with. My old alarm company installed a system and it was a pain to have them come out and make adjustments and we had a number of false alarms. We have our alarm for over months without any problems. I did much research on the alarm installer in the San Jose area and went with Alarm company as they seemed the most professionial and had fair pricing. This is a great company. I house & pet sit for quite a few people that have used this company for all their security needs. I know this company personally. In response to the two negative reviews I find it interesting the poster used the same name as the owner of the company.
