I was helping a guy get his taxes caught up he heard about these people so I communicated with them giving them everything they need they contacted us about weekly payments once they got their money the numbers don't work and people aren't responding emails as I check three years that they filed and they were all wrong didn't claim a lot of the expense I told them and they changed the amounts to pleased them the guy owes more than he should about to go to Jackson Hewitt or h&r block and... They promise much and deliver very little. Poor follow through. They repeatedly missed submission dates. They did not stop a garnishment. I called and had that taken care. Frustrating company to deal with they do not return calls after they get paid. Promises, promises, but no reality, like talking to salesman not a fiduciary attorney. Disappointed. I started out using this service as all of you, as I got more involved it seem to me that all of the paperwork that had to be done was going to be done by me, which I had set up an account for the Tax Helpline to be paid every 2 weeks out of my pay check, they were asking for all these tax forms that I had no idea about, seemed almost like they thought that I was educated in tax reform or something, and they never did any work for me, I tried to get a refund, but was never able to connect wit... I heard an advertisement for Tax Help Line on the radio while I was in my car. I have tax issues and have been looking for someone to assist me, so I quickly dialed the number and sent the call from my cell phone so it would be stored and then hung up. I HAVE WORKED WITH THE TAX HELPLINE FOE OVER A YEAR AND THEY HAVE DELIVERED MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED THE SERVICE IS GREAT I CAN ALWAYS CONTACT THE PERSONS THAT WAS HANDLING MY CASE IF I NEEDED ANY QUESTIONS ANSWERED.I OWED CLOSE TO $20,000 DOLLARS TO THE IRS WHEN I CONTACTED TAX HELPLINE I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO ,I HAD RETIRED FROM WORK AND LIVING ON A FIXED INCOME AND NO WAY I COULD HAVE PAID BACK ALL THAT MONEY,THEY QUICKLY PUT ME ON AN EASY PAYPLAN OF $200 DOLLARS A MONTH WHILE THEY WORK... Tax Helpline let me down and let the IRS. levy my Social Security check. The reason I paid them $3,000.00 was to keep this from happening. So what they promissed to do just the opposite happened. The Taxhelpline helped me file my taxes and get the IRS off my back. I had Levys that they got lifted in 48 hrs. I was able to pay my rent and keep my house..I owed over 72k from 7 years of taxes that weren't prepared. After Sally was done, I owed 8k. I pay 75.00 per month on a payment plan they set up. To be consistent with the BBB policy I have toned down my report. The Tax Help Line does not return phone calls (I could mention names and times but it would take up the entire page), they make promises they do not keep (they agreed to get us a discount on what we owed plus remove any penalties--not), and they changed our contact person no less than 4 times. Additionally, they requested more money from us after we had an agreement in place and they never delivered again on any of their promis... Read More »
