I would recommend the JBC Basics Course to anyone with a new camera or getting back into photography as a refresher. John's course has helped me to shoot better pictures with a more understanding of my camera works. The in class session as well as the field trip was very informative along with John's guidance I came home with some very good pictures each day. Had 2 family photo sessions with John recently. He was very understanding and great to work with. We were 10 adults plus a newborn and John was very patient with all of us. He understood our requirements very well and took multiple shots to get the best. Also he was very quick in handing over the pictures to us after the shoot. When we were looking for a photographer to take our family portraits, John immediately came to mind. My husband and I had seen samples of John's work in the past and were impressed with his eye for photography. The most valuable aspect of John's services for us is that he brings the studio to your home. I know John from a previous job I held. I always knew his passion for nature photography. In recent conversations with him via facebook, he mentioned that he is planning to turn his passion in to a full time career. John's calendars are so beautiful and varied. This year I bought the Zoo, Hummingbirds, Water Lilies, Yosemite, and Fioli Gardens. I gave them to co-workers who were very impressed. We also had John do our Christmas cards this year. He came to the house to take the photo which was very convenient. I have purchased John's photos for the last 10 years. His calendars and cards are outstanding. John recently did a family photo shoot with my wife and father-in-law.
