After doing some research on contractors approved through my utilities company, I decided to call and schedule an appointment for an estimate on attic and wall insulation. My family & I hired Green Choice Living to install my windows winter of 2012. This has got to be the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. First, I was pressured into a "the price is only good today" scenario, which I usually never fall for. After the fact, I found out that I could get the exact same quality windows (Anlin / vinyl / double pane) for half the price & here I thought that the "today or never" pricing was going to be the deal of a lifetime. We had seven new "Anlin Window Systems" windows installed by Green Choice Living, Inc.on December 1, 2012. These windows are well designed, attractive and secure. With our old windows, we had cold drafts in winter weather, which we no longer experience with the new windows. We have also noticed that there is a reduction in "outside noise", such as traffic and the usual "neighborhood sounds." Green Choice Living embodies the new breed of home improvement experts that set them apart from the traditional "estimate/bid - do your job" contractor. These guys really focus on customer service and making their client happy. Green choice living is an outfit that was referred to us by our neighbor. I already remodeled my home completely couple of years ago but I needed 2 more windows replaced and a patio cover. since the other contractor i used a few years ago went out of business, i decided to get a quote from them since they carried the same brand of amerimax windows i had installed. they gave me a good price and the installation was quick only 1 day without any problems. the good thing about Green choice living... My father had left us his home in Sacramento after he passed away. The house has had all the original fixtures since '79 and my husband and I decided to perform some remodels to update the house and its living conditions. ken watson and his company green choice living are people that really do what they say and promise. gcl came to my house and installed new insulation and soalr attic fans which really helped in ventilating my attic space. i live in a old house in pasadena and the roof structure is pretty old, but ken and his guys came and made sure all the bad wood was replaced and then they inspected every crevice in the attic and made sure it was covered with the right amount of insulation. electrical work...
