My 1969 Rolex Datejust was sent for an overhaul through a local Panama City, FL, jeweler (98 Pawn and Jewelry, same owner as Estate Jewelry & Loan in Port St Joe, FL) who sends all of his watches, or at least all of his Rolexes, to Oscar Messina for servicing. Excellent company, Oscar is great to deal with, a year ago,I purchased a ladies Rolex presidential for my wife thru them(wedding present). I was Leary about sending $6,???? To Florida.(I'm in Texas). He described the watch, but in my opinion, knowing what I know now,he was extremely modest. He offered money back guarantee if I wasn't happy, so I took a chance, used Amex card just in case.... i just got the watch today to give to wife for mothers day and i'm happy the way it looks...perfectly polished,but when i looked at the back the lettering from cartier is missing(back is blank)i called in and was told it was so old that it was removed from polishing.i own the same watch i bought in 1990 and i had it polished 3 times already and once overhauled(i still have the cartier writing.i was told i could return the watch though. i presented the watch to my wife only to my dismay, she... I called the store today because I was having problems with the website .. I spoke with the owner Oscar, and he helped me, and told me that I would get an additional 10% discount on my Rolex watch if I ordered from the website .. After trying the website again, without any luck, Oscar took my information over the phone, and still gave me the 10% discount .. Please do not buy any watches from http://www.messinajewelers.com. I bought Movado watch for $349.00 when it arrived I wear for 2 hours all the parts are coming out of the watch when I call them it says the phone no is not working no.
