I spent a year drawing plans, researching, digging electrical and waterlines, and pond. My plans called for an external pump and filter system out of view and sheltered. I hired Sage to put in the liner,water lines, decorate with stone, and hopefully follow my plans. Sage came in put in a submersible pump, which I said in front of the boss and crew "I DON'T want this pump",and put in an expensive UV filter. All in a location completely exposed to the elements.
