This organization is a criminal conspiracy. They use the guise of a moving- business to commit robbery and extortion. Please investigate the company and you will find some horrible and sometimes dangerous people they employ. They subcontract from other companies that do interstate moving such as All Star van line in Clifton, NJ(Please stay away from them as well). I conducted an internet search for movers to assist with my move from Pittsburgh, PA to St. Cloud, Florida and came across Sunshine Vanlines. Janet was more than courteous and I was surprised that every time I called I was able to speak with her. She emailed me a quote with the BBB logo and I did verify that they were accredited but to my dismay didn’t read the reviews. I agreed with the quote and paid a $200 deposit. Narrowly missed what I'm sure would have been a bad experience with this company. Up until the last minute, Janet and the rest of the staff were courteous. They had recommended I contact movinginsurance.com to insure my goods, which I did. Then movinginsurance.com notified me that Sunshine was not accredited and that they would have to apply in order for me to get insurance. I am so sorry I ever chose this company. Like all other complaints, I got the bait and switch. My quote was double the amount. There were a few things that we added to our inventory list, but not 2,800 dollars more. I feel violated and ashamed that they take advantage of you. STAY AWAY, This company is fraudulant and will do its best to screw you. First off, Pricing was a bait & switch. MY original quote increased from $1250 to $1600 but my inventory list never changed. Ironically my list got smaller. I had asked for an in home estimate, company DOESNT offer that. I had asked for free boxes, company refused to honor agreement and was rude. They HUNG up on me. This is a complaint about a moving co called Sunshine Movers Aka Cardenas movers or whomever they decide to email it to. We got someone from the Dallas area and they were awful. The driver lets you know he doesn’t want to be there he rushes you to sign papers, cant hanrdly speak english, he actually leaves the loaders there alone does not supervise and stays on the phone so you cannot possibly get any answers from him.I had the funds like i was told to have them cashiers ck, he was no... Sunshine Van Lines...Where to start? Well like the other people who reviewed them here, I feel victimized. After weeks of checking with movers, we chose Sunshine. Their estimate was based on an inventory list we were asked to provide. We provided the list and were happy with the estimate. I would give negative stars, but the system does not allow it. The company was great when we were contacting movers and getting quotes, they told us everything we wanted to hear after carefully researching. The day of the move, the 'foreman' who came to pack our things was a very slick talker who wouldn't aswer questions directly and would instead talk in circles. He forgot to sticker many items. I moved about a month ago with this company I have to admit I was kind of nervous because of all the Horror stories I read about moving companies online, however sunshine was EXCELLENT! The representatives were very nice and polite from beginning to end they took the time to go over my list of items I was moving and gave me a binding price for my move. My experience with this company was not a good one. I never dealt with a moving company before but after this experience I will be better prepared not to get suckered into contract with a price gauging company like Sunshine. Our quote came in very low for our move and that is a scam to try and get customers to sign with them, after you already gave them your list of furniture, where you are moving ect...
