Dear friends I started this program on 02/2010 and set up a plan for consolidating my debts after a divorce for 22 months and 350.00 dollars per month and 7700.00 dollars total. This company has taken over $5,000.00 from my account and they DID NOT DO ANYTHING for us. I would pick a minus -5 star rating if they'd let me. This is a total scam. They deducted 13 payments of $431 a month from me and never settled any of my debts. I quit paying them, then they would deduct even more in maintenance fee and NSF fees that I ended up only getting back $537, then they took $100 cancellation fee off of that and $100 in "other fees" so I got a total of $337.00 back ($5603.00 total was paid to them) and they never paid one single debt, and I ended up filing bankruptcy... This group only scam people out of money and never settles a debt. When the law suits start to roll in they cancelled my account. This is so wrong... They took money for never settling a debt. The Miller Law Group through their MLG Law Group in Walnut California defrauded me of $10,000 through their "debt reduction" plan. And when I contacted the Attorney General's office I was told I had to go through the Bar Association. In turn the BAr Association to me they could do nothing because Douglas G. When they tell you their address is on LEMON street, believe they're a LEMON of a company! They never call you back, you wind up getting sued by your creditors and they still want their money. They make no calls to your debtors, send you no statements so you don't really know where your money is going and you might as well just pull money out of the bank and burn it cause that's all you're doing! They never contacted any of my creditors as a result I was served with a law suit. They requested I fax over the law suit papers which I did a week ago and have not been contacted. I sent via fax a cancelation of their services aswell as a letter via FedEx. Also, I went to my bank and put a stop to the ACH withdrawls from my account. I was paying $579.00 a month for nothing. NOTE: ALL of us that have been scammed need to start a class action lawsuite against this company. MLG scammed us out of $6000 before we were able to put a stop to it. We filed a formal complaint with the CA Bar and just received word from them (5/21/11) that Doug Miller is dead. I signed up in December for a debt settlement program, and I feel sorry for all of you that such as myself fell in their scam.I physically went to visit their office in Walnut to hand deliver my cancellation letter and the place looks nothing like a trustworthy law office. Beware of Miller Law Group and Global Debt Solutions! We have tried for weeks on end to speak with anyone that works at this office or there partners at Global Debt Solutions. I hired MLG Law Group in January 2010. They have deducted $ 3,591.00 from my account thus far. I have been sued twice and can not receive and response from them. I have called and left messages, sent emails and has even contacted the Attorney Generals office. At this point, I feel they have not fulfilled their contract and I want a full refund. We tried to get help from their Debt Solutions.But it is impossible to get an answer to questions about how they handle our creditor's and they gave us false information. First of all, don't go to them. My mother has been with them since February and they haven't done anything of what they promised. Until now we have recognized it because now she is even more in debt and her credit score has worsen. We try to contact them and they are never there. Steve Bolen does a wonderful job of getting back to you BEFORE you sign an agreement. We went to them for a debt settlement. We had questions prior to signing up with them, and most times, Mr. Bolen would respond on the same day. This helped alleviate my apprehension when I saw that the agreement gave the money to the law firm first, then the trust fund would go to settle the debts.
