I had an awful experience using swagbucks. I created a second account only b/c I forgot my log in information! I had nearly 300 points go missing last year & out of anger, I threw my account info away. I decided 2 return 2 swagbucks a month or so ago. I followed all swagbucks do's and don'ts and complied to their terms of use and was deactivated on the day gift card code was "emailed." I spent countless hours watching videos and ad's which makes them money only to fooled.I am still waiting for their famous "multiple accounts email" or the "cheating swagbucks" however I used no bot, switched from video to video by hand and have only one account. My Swagbucks.com account was deactivated without any warning. I wrote to their help center and they said I had multiple accounts. I explained to them that I recommended Swagbucks.com to my roommate and we shared the same internet but used our own computers. They wouldn't listen and still give me no response to my explanation. My account was deactivated for an unjustified reason. I lost $20 of Amazon gift cards and several hundred sb in my account. I had been a member since November 2011 and was deactivated mid January 2013. The compliance department did say I could open a new account with a different email, but would not reactivate my original account. I had over 1300 points before they deactivated it. They just deactivated the account without notifying me. They said I was operating two accounts. I guess because me and my husband each has account with they. If SB doesn't allow two accounts in one address, why the hell they allowed me to register the account and allowed me to accumulate many points? I never fake my address or identity. DEACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT STATING THAT IT WAS DUE TO MY "THE" YOUTUBE VIDEO AND CANCELLED MY FATHER'S ACCOUNT TOO SIMULTANEOUSLY CITING IT AS A SHARED A/C. I started SB a while ago and my son was watching me win things and asked for an account of his own, it wasnt long after that my husband also wanted to give it a try. I have been a good member of swagbucks for at least 3 years with no problems at all. All the sudden they deactivate my account saying I was using some auto refresh/iframe program to cheat on SBTV. I signed up after hearing good things about this company on the blog "Pocket Your Dollars". I've been a member for well over a year and have steadily increased my use as the company seemed reliable. I'm disabled and spend much of my time on my computer. My parents told me about Swagbucks raving about how easy it was to get points and Amazon gift cards. Well it is HOWEVER I was deactivated out of the blue the other day--losing out on $35 worth of swagbucks and redeemed rewards. Just last week my account was suddenly deactivated. After confirming with swagsupport I was told that I was using some sort of automatic reloading software and/or iframe to cheat on swagtv... I have been a loyal user of swagbucks for quite some time now using their coupons, searching thru them, watching videos, etc. I cashed in for a $100 Amazon gift card that I worked long and hard to earn and then was informed my account was deactivated due to auto-refreshing or iframe (I have no clue what either of those even are)! Do not trust this website at all! I have been using it for many years now building up points, finally wanted to cash in on a tigerdirect e-gift card, it said verified for 5 business days then they deactivate my account. After complaining to the email they provide they simply say I was botting searches. However I never did and I would like them to show me proof I did. I have been using swagbucks search engine for about 2 years and have slowly cashed in my swagbucks for Amazon giftcards. I had accrued over 4900 swagbucks which was equivalent to about $50 in Amazon giftcards. When I tried to redeem my bucks for the gift cards my account was refunded. I never violated Swag Bucks' terms of use, so I was surprised to see my account suddenly deactivated after I redeemed points for a gift card. I sent email to find out what's wrong. Honest players do not get swagbucks they deserve. If you win too many tournaments honestly, Your account is deactivated and you're accused of cheating when you are not. My account was deactivated unjustly. This site does not uphold to the terms they lay out and they do not help you at all. I'm tired of complaining to customer service who does not care about their customers. Time and time again I complain about the same issue and once it's resolved I don't get the swagbucks I fairly deserve.
