Thanks for all the great work that you and everyone has done! I will be building my credit back to a preferable status within the next few years. From the very beginning, the BK process was laid out in such easy to understand terms. Your staff needs to be commended for their superb understanding and kindness shown to us in this very difficult time in our life. At 75 you never want to have to go through this trauma. I have had a wonderful experience working with First Source Law. I do not live in the state of Ca. But they were always prompt in answering my emails or calls. Any question I had, Lisel was wonderful and got right back to me. I will refer anyone I know looking for legal advise to them. I can only say good things about First Source Law. They handled our modification professionally and diligently and after 6 months of hard negotiation we have a new, affordable mortgage. We knew that there were no guarantees but they were never promising impossible things yet were confident and reassuring. They also were very responsive and educating us during the process. I contacted First Source Law originally to help obtain a loan modification after seeing their A rating on the BBB. After reviewing their website I noticed that they also offered services in Bankruptcy and Short sales, which caught my eye because of my current financial situation. Needless to say they consulted me throughout the process and promptly responded to any questions I had. My hours were cut twice in one year and I realized I either needed to get a loan modification or sell my house because I could no longer afford the payment and the stress of collections calling me all the time was really becoming too much to handle. Last year I lost my job and had no choice but to fall behind on my mortgage to survive, I eventually found another job for less money but my lender refused to accept anything less then the whole past due amount owed.
