Thanks to St. Jude Nursing School I am now a CNA. This school is a great option, they teach you everything you need to know. They help and make sure you are well prepared when it comes to the test and in my case I'm ready to work in any place where a CNA is needed. I loved the hands-on training! Even though the course I took was only 2 months, it was not jammed-packed information nor difficult at all! Everything was perfectly and reasonably spread out! Dont think that since it is a fast course, they will cram all the info and you wont learn a thing! on the contrary! The instructors are amazing and have experience in the field. My experiences at St. Jude's nursing school was an interesting experience. Before enrolling into this school of nursing I never found it interesting. The school is located in a conventional storefront remodelling with excellent classroom facilities and primo air conditioning. The teachers were very well-prepared, all bilingual, willing to go back over material or skills whenever requested, and interested in individual student experiences in the caregiving field. Aside from this is a great school, I super love the teachers and the staff. They are so nice especially Mr. Richard, he is a great guy! They always want you to feel comfortable when you're in school. Easy to sign up for and get to I had no problem with parking at all. The CPR class was taught efficiently yet effectively. My instructor was very sweet, helpful and entertaining. I definitely feel that I was well informed. In my opinion CPR is a very important skill, is a great place to get important saving training and had the cards in our hands as promised. Read More »

Life while I was in school was rough because as a single parent I was trying to balance a full time job while going to school part time in the evening. Took BLS renewal.I have been an RN for quite sometime and usually finds this class boring.But this time is different, i really had fun attending this class, with Richard as the instructor, superb teacher and made sure he covers everything the students need to know. Live interaction between instructor and students, great learning environment. All the other personnel have been nice and accomodating. You wont regret going to this school. They have classes that fit your schedule. They work with your finance situation. The teachers are superb, they will help you in every step of the way. Having recently visited the school again because I went to renew my CPR card I found the school space to be extremely welcoming and highly conducive learning I was impressed with the staff who were polite, professional and enlightening. St. Jude Nursing School is a very good school. I learned a lot from the bilingual teachers the facility had to offer. The staff is patient and friendly; teachers will make it their priority to help you succeed. The small class size allowed my classmates and me to easily engage with the teacher. This school is very easy to complete. The teachers are very patient and will explain everything again like 3 times if she needs to. The classes are bilingual, which is good if you understand spanish because you will get the information twice. You study your skills when they first hand them to you so it will be easy for you to do the state test. I would come back to this school if the get the phlebotomy class the end of the year. I took and passed the written and skills test (CA NURSE AIDES) given on April 14, 2011 by the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP). For those of you who are seeking a CNA LICENSE, I am recommending St. Jude Nursing School. You do not need a High School diploma to take this program, compared to other institutions requirement.
