I really appreciate that when I first called Pacific Beneficial Mortgage and inquired about a VA loan the person on the other end of the telephone asked me was I a Veteran. When I replied yes the person on the other end of the telephone thanked me for my service. Alex Jocovic performed exactly as other reviews stated he would. If you use reviews to make your decisions, then trust Alex and make him your choice broker. I needed to refinance to avoid paying PMI on my loan. Alex Jocovic discussed a number of options with me and was honest with me about what Pacific Beneficial's strength was vs. other lenders. My goals: 1 -refi at a good rate, 2- not go insane. My fears: 1 - trust; 2 - hassle; 3 - will they fund. If you use lending tree, some lenders will hound your phone with auto callers. All documents and procedures were explained to me in details I was able to understand and completing nearly every aspect of the process via electronic means was the perfect way for me to refinance. We received a preapproval letter from Shawn Buker, who claimed to be a senior loan officer (but is not actually according to the company's website). He claimed to be a specialist in helping self-employed individuals and claimed to know more than the other five lenders who told us a loan was not possible because we needed 2 years of self-employment to qualify. We have been trying to refinance for a very long time before we connected with Pacific Beneficial Mortgage Co. Every other service we dealt with asked for lots of paper, only to have us sink when the underwriters insisted in the silliest things such as a letter stating we paid no Homeowner Association Fees, despite there being no evidence in our bank accounts to this effect!? I've done two refi's with Alex Zelada in the past year, and both have been painless. The first I found him through lendingtree, and of the 5 or so brokers I talked to, Alex helped make the process very clear and understandable, and worked hard to explain how all the charges and fees worked.
