I am an electrical engineer that has been researching solar for years until the point at which I drove my poor wife crazy. I ended up deciding 2011 was the year to do it since panel prices are low, interest rates are low, photocell efficiency improvements are diminishing, labor costs are low, utility rates are rising, and rebates are running dry.
