Called me to do an estimate. I said fine. Come out and measure and give me a price. Nope 60 to 90 minutes. For a complete sales pitch. Told them I had 30 minutes the young lady transfered me to her " manager" to verify my information, who then informed me they needed 90 minutes. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Florida Solar & Air. I was totally mislead from the start. When I called the city of Hollywood to ask about the time it was taking to approve the permits I was told FSA had not provided them with correct insurance and license information. I gave it some time and called back a week and a half later. Nothing changed. City still could mot move forward with the permits applied for. I called PACE funding. I purchased five windows and a sliding glass door from Florida Solar and Air in January. I requested four quotes from window companies with reviews on Home advisor, and out of the four quotes I received they were the second least expensive and the most professional. They handled the HOA and the city permit requirements quickly, and they finished the job in just under ten weeks. Read More »

Do not use this company. I had originally refrained myself from writing a review until things were complete, but as it seems, I continue to get empty promises from this company. I placed my order for new hurricane windows at the end of October. I had no issue with the time frame to receive my order because I have an old house and they were custom. Purchased Air Conditioner last year. Trane unit.I will admit, im not the easiest guy to please, but I am fair. The installation was real professional. and the unit works great. My wife and I are very price conscious (her more than I) and we do our due dilligence, Their price for the AC was substantially cheaper than other well reviewed companys. MY A/C IS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED AFTER 42 DAYS FROM THE INITIAL INSTALLATION DATE. This Company collected funds in advance to install a central a/c on October 10, 2012. The initial installation took as long as two days. When they left, I noticed that my two stage unit did not stop working and contacted the Company. I bought a 5 tons Carrier Central AC from Solandair in October, 2011 for a total of $5,602.00. The vendor, Pelayo Llabre, literally disappeared after the closing and never followed up or did a post-sales service. Installers were clean and neat, but forgot several things, first technician had to come back to install a break, couple of months later another technician told me that they did not installed something needed for the dehumidifier to work, the temperature in the house was not pleasant...
