We have had problems with gulls and crows lighting on docks by empty boat slips. Over the last 18 months, our Dock Committee and private individuals have purchase five Bird Chase Super Sonic units which have been strategically placed in problem areas. We tend to set the units on a daylight setting as we have found that by not letting birds alight in the day, they will not roost there at night. Haven't seen a bird at all in my back yard! Hooray! And since I walk a lot in the desert with my dog, I get to see all the quail and doves in their natural environment without the nesting in my fan (of course it may currently be past their nesting season....) and the poop on the walls and walkways in my yard.
