We were promised, thru the lease program which is now more than our electric bill would be now, the panels would provide all the electrical power we needed. First year we paid $155 a month lease plus a bill of $500 at year end for additional electricity used. So we broke even that year. So now we have panels on our roof plus we are out as much as we paid for electricity in lease payments as they go up $5 each year plus additional electric bill at year end. We had a window today for a technician to come by from 8-10. Ron came by today, and was at our home right at 8am. He explained our system very easily and fixed our problem right away. He also checked out our solar panels up on the roof and noticed a cracked roof tile, and fixed it. We have not had this type of customer service in a long time. Impressive. Read More »

The product works but company is short sighted. After installation I compared what my system produced in my neighborhood compared to other solar company systems and was very disappointed. We had initially contracted to purchase solar with another company. Then my husband talked with the CGI Solar representative at Sam's Club. And set up an appointment with CGI. Gci Solar was quick at getting the job completed. After meeting with the sales rep, They sent out their engineer the next day to measure and evaluate the roof. Gci quickly had the plans drawn up ready for my approval and submitted to the city planner. We really enjoyed our experience with GCI Solar. We talked with two other solar companies before going with GCI. Out of the 3 solar companies we talked to, GCI was by far the best. I chose GCI after receiving a telemarketing call. I check and found they were a well respected solar company. I signed up for the Lease Program and they scheduled my install. The lease upgraded my 100amp service to 200amp and they installed 30 panels (my request for a slight over build)It took 2 days and worked when they finished 10-8-12. GCI had installed my original solar panels back in January of this year. My SCE bill dropped from $550.00 per month to under $300.00. That was still too high, so I called around to some other solar companies to see what it would cost to add more solar panels. My dealings with Galkos Construction in regards to the solar panel installation have been top notch. The salesman was very professional, knowledgeable and did not do a hard press sale. I called these guys after I had a quote from another company. The salesman came out, and did not try to hard sell me. They were $10,000 cheaper, and had a much better product. I spent many hours researching companies, and these guys stood out. The installation crew was great. They all seemed to know what they were doing, and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs.
