This is my 'go to guy' any time I have a construction project around the house - I also recommend him to all my friends when they need to get work done. One of the unusual things about this company is they are totally honest and know what they are doing at the bid stage. We hired Hi-Tech Design & Construction, Inc. to do a bathroom gut and renovation, including tiling, plumbing, painting, drywall and more odds/ends. We had this team completely redo the bathroom in our rowhome, and they did an amazing job. In the process of the renovation they found that one wall had additional repairs that needed to be addressed, and they worked with us to adjust the estimate and make the fixes needed. The guy from Hi-Tech Design & Construction DBA Medikbuild has done a few odd jobs for me, so far: repairing cracked grout in two showers, stabilizing a ceiling fan that had become unbalanced and noisy, caulking my showers, and repairing an automatic drip watering system on my deck. I've worked with a number of contractors, and Kevin restored my faith in the profession. He transformed my muddy, sloped rear yard into a place I can actually use with a deck, stairs and some strategically placed concrete retaining walls. We had some brief delays due to weather and some unforeseen complications out of his control, but he was always quick to keep me updated, and I always felt like we were on track. Don’t you love when any kind of construction work around the house goes well? When you don’t have to worry about anything… good feeling! I have a really old house, from around 1930’s which my late father left me. My staircase was rubbish. I still remember that squeaking noise every time you go up or down… During my lunch break, I saw one catalog with some modern metal staircases, and really wanted them badly. When I got the money I needed, I hired Hi-Tech Design to install them for me. they sent people over, who did the job perfectly. Hi-Tech Design and Construction Inc. completed the remodel of the master bathroom and repair of a second bathroom in Feb. 2011. Kudos to Roy Katalan, (senior project manager)for efficiently scheduling the work, giving me a breakdown of the schedule and what to expect, writing out a guideline on cost of materials and connecting me with resources for a custom made vanity, Cesearstone counter top, frameless shower, Porcelanosa tile and Kohler products that helped me stay within my budget.
