I had my new cell phone for 1 month and already had a Mobizzo charge on it ($9.99 +tax). AT&T claimed that they couldn't remove it and that I'd have to call Mobizzo directly to remove the charge. The Mobizzo rep cancelled the account quickly enough, but claimed they couldn't issue a credit for the charge through my carrier. I was told they would have to mail a check to me. This company is a SCAM! I don't know how they managed to do it but they got on my phone bill for $9.99 plus tax per month. Now I have to go through all my past bills to see how long they've been charging me and challenge it. These guys are thieves!!! How can AT&T even allow this? SMS TEXT SCAM On 2/22/2011, Mobizzo charged 2-phones on my Verizon account $9.99 for SMS 66249 texts. These texts were completely unsolicited and not replied to. In fact, on one phone the text wasn't even opened until the screen announcement from Mobizzo thanking me for subscribing was closed. According to SMSWatchdog.com and textcomplaints.com there were others with similar experiences during February 2011. This company all and.all was a very bad experience they lure customers in by setting up banners that say you won a free ipad ask you to pick a color and provide your phone number to send you a pin so you can claim your ipad I contacted company spoke to a rep and the rep contradicted herself several times first she stated you didn't win a free ipad that is a way to get you to the site to subscribe to our trivia then she stated you do win a ipad then stated the way I do it is by earning tickets...
