If you have mortgage with Wells Fargo, it doesn't work to reduce principal. It only works to modify for longer time per Jack said. for example your mortgage 30 years and already paid for 5 years, then modify can make another 40 years means your mortgage is 45 years or it could be 60-100 years. The Law Office of John M. Ribarich saved our home! We tried to refinance our home a few years ago but we owed more then what the home was worth.
