LHDR is only interesting in signing you up and getting their monthly maintenance fees. They give you the run around, don't answer phone calls or emails, give you "pat" answers for every question you ask. They will not represent you in court and will not give you copies of creditor letters or tax forms. When I first signed with the company I thought I had found the answers to my debt problems , however I have had more issues with my debt than before I signed onto the program. I have been to court for two accounts, my checking accounts has been garnished for one account and needless to say that when I call they are of no help and the phone on-hold times are ridiculous. I have been a customer of Legal Helpers for 14 months. The first 13 months were spent paying their fees. During that time I received no help from them. I have been taken to court by one of my creditors and was ordered to pay them $100 a month in addition to what I was paying LHDR. Recently I tried to call LHDR to just check on any progress on my account and it took me 3 weeks to get someone to call me back. I called and left 57 messages during that time. Upon acceptance into the program (told by sale rep. we qualified for their servces) we paid a large amount to this company to help us resolve our debts, we entered 4 consumer accounts into the resolution program. Within a few months, we were being served papers that we were being sued by 3 out of the four.
