It was very hard to look for a classical piano recital dress that's tea-length. Almost all dresses for teens & tweens are above-the-knee and the styles are not formal enough so we lucked out on this dress. I purchased a Christmas dress for my daughter's piano/singing recital. She wanted the pink dress with the black overlay of lace. Once we got it she decided she should really go with the red dress with the black overlay a lace. It just didn't go with her skin tone. Customer service department went above and beyond. Elite dresses goes beyond their name, the staff is very professional and friendly. They were beyond willing to make sure I ordered the right product and size. I purchased 2 of these dress for a garden wedding we attended. They were absolutely perfect for this occasion. The dresses themselves were beautiful exactly the right colours as we're shown on the website sizing was accurate and the tip about getting a size bigger due to the layering was very helpful. I was absolutely thrilled with the dresses I ordered for my wedding. I had 4 little girls and It's hard to find a red and black dress for a little girl that still lets them look like little girls. My daughter wore this to her father/daughter dance and it couldn't have been more perfect. The color is not quite mint, almost more of an apple green. We bought the petticoat to wear under it and the skirt was very full and perfect for dancing. The skirt itself had tiny tiny sparkles through out it. Absolutely adorable!
