Excellence in Service I found Melrose Moving to be the best service I have ever used. 1) Arrived before the time to prepare for our move. 2) Complete care was taken when moving any of my breakables. 3) They did not just dump everything everywhere. My friend recommended Melrose Moving when I moved from my old apartment to the new one, but I thought that I would not need help to move my things. After few trips with my car I finally came to conclusion that I will need help with moving and then I called them. I used Melrose Moving after hearing about them from a couple of co-workers. I scheduled an end-of-the-month move and my crew was right on time. The movers were incredibly efficient and friendly. They moved my apartment out of one place and into another in 3 hours!!! Unbelievable!!! I would highly recommend using Melrose. I mean OMG! These guys were Fantastic! You know how stressful moving is right? Well, they made my whole moving process feel like a joy. Great full service move. The title says it all. I contacted Melrose Moving to do a complete move for us pack, load, unload and unpack. The process was painless. The men showed up the first day to pack us all up and even did a little prep work for the next day. The next day, same men, on time and ready for the heavy lifting. A crew from Melrose Moving helped us on the moving day. They certainly did their best job despite some difficult moving environment including: very narrow freight entrance with full recycle bins, old fashion 19th century styled elevator, the longest hallway between the freight elevator and our new apartment. Fantastic and reliable service, best crew ever! They were great! This is the second time that we have used Melrose and they are always very professional in the handling of the move and honest in what they charge which is a great deal. I was very impressed with Melrose Moving and with how these movers were very down-to-earth and went above and beyond our expectations. We hired them for an office move and had them running around Los Angeles area. The worst movers I have ever dealt with. They called to reschedule to a different day 20 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, of course this was impossible, they finally showed up 5 hours late. The movers attempted to wrap every piece of furniture with their $100 a roll saran wrap. They spent more time arguing about how to load the truck and taking cigarette breaks than actually moving furniture. If you are making a local move, you need these guys to come help you. They will show up at your house with their truck and help you pack, then load everything on the truck and move on down the road. The guys are great and are very careful. We used them when we moved to Los Angeles and nothing was damaged or broken. When they unload, they will place objects in the rooms you want. Great Service - Would Use Again They did very well on extremely short notice. We had a crew of two movers. Both were quick, friendly, professional, and careful with our electronics and other fragile items. The drive time took far more time than the actual moving did. Melrose Moving was awesome for me and our move. We moved from a town home with many stairs and packed our own stuff the best we could (very unprofessionally I may add!). These guys are worth every penny AND MORE. We have just finished unpacking the contents of our 4 bedroom house we recently moved with the Melrose Moving. I must admit, Melrose Moving was not the least expensive choice, but definitely worth it. All our precious possessions made it to our new home in the perfect order. I had a friend introduce me to Melrose Moving. At the time, I knew nothing of the foundation. Since that first experience, I have used no one else. I just hired them again for a difficult move from Malibu to the Valencia. Unfortunately, I fell and sprained my ankle the day before my move, so I was useless. Five guys showed up. I have to say all the reviewers here on BBB did not lie about how great these movers are. When they got to our place, they were professional and got set up with carpet runners, got the lay of the land, and then went into overdrive. They packed up our stuff quickly and efficiently, they even had wardrobes to put odds and ends into, and used plenty of padding and shrinkwrap that I requested to protect some of the delicate items. Came from out of town with my apartment in a U-haul. They unloaded carefully and politely listened to all my needs. They put everything where I wanted it and set it up. Whatever I wanted they did without hesitation. The movers understood the meaning of customer satisfaction. I also liked the fact that I talked to very helpful staff in setting everything up. Merlrose did an awesome job for me. With in just three days of putting my home out on the market it sold! Unfortunately, I hadn't planned to move so soon.
