We did a Resource Fair for Seniors and asked for some students to provide makeovers. It was a huge success. The students were both friendly and very professional and extremely helpful when asked for advice. Whether a simple touch up with eyeliner or a full on make up job they were the hit of the fair. I decided to enroll in makeup courses and get certified last summer. I searched on the internet for local makeup schools and came across Cammua. I attended the Upland location. First and foremost, I must say that Gia is a great teacher and Joe is very helpful in answering any questions you have prior to enrollment. I was getting pretty tired of being told I should charge for my makeup artistry, but feeling like I had no clue what I was doing. Thanks to Cammua I have made my dream job a reality. Cammua is not only a great school to learn makeup artistry but they are also honest, caring and once you have studied at Cammua you become part of a family. When I arrived to CAMMUA I was greeted by Joe Michaels and was warmly welcomed by him and the other employees. My make up artitst, Marylu Gomez was AMAZING and I highly recommend her!!! I've been modeling full time for a year and a half and she has been one of the best MUA's I've worked with. The best thing I ever did for my makeup career was go to CAMMUA. I live in New York. I took a week off this past August and went to Newport Beach California to take CAMMUA's Makeup course. Working with CAMMUA is truly wonderful. We had the pleasure of working with them at a recent fashion show, and they were on top of their game all night. For this specific event, there were 4 CAMMUA artists on staff, and 14 models to finish. These artists finished all 14 models with so much time to spare. Where do i even begin? .. That can either start out good, or bad.. In this case, it starts out FANTASTIC! I just graduated from CAMMUA a couple of weeks ago. I work full time so finding a school that was both flexible and nearby to where I live was a big plus! I took the 7 day course...the tools and products they provide with the program are of very good quality. The instrutors (Gia and Christina) are very nice and know what they are doing. "Tell us what you thought about your experience at CAMMUA." Well, for starters, to say that CAMMUA is an amazing school is a complete understatement. The kit is by far the best I've seen offered. The classes aren't over crowded, so you really get that one on one with the teacher. Gia is an amazing teacher and the whole CAMMUA team is the best. I'm so happy I decided to study in CAMMUA after I search for more schools. This is THE ONLY one that answered my phone calls every time I call them or getting back to me as soon as they can ! CAMMUA. i think if i could talk forever about this school i would! lol. environment amazing, GIA, SERGIO and JOE such awesome people! I had the hardest time finding a school that wasn't in los angeles. When I found a few schools in Orange County I looked into them and wasn't too happy with what I was able to find but from the second I called cammua I had a better feeling about this school than I did with the others.
