I was attempting to heal my carpal Tunnel Syndrome with physical therapy, chiropratic and anti inflammatories, I had a surgery with Dr Knight. Would that I had received better guidance from my doctors! After getting in to do an endoscopic procedure, he determined that there was too much inflammation and had to cut in. I could not be more impressed with Dr. Knight. He is truly an absolute gem in this city. I had been to several doctors who were unable to help me, but Dr. Knight knows his stuff and was able to figure it out and get me back to work. As a photographer I need my hands to be in working order to hold my heavy camera and equipment...so I was more than thrilled that we had a diagnosis and that there was a way to fix the problem. I went in to see Dr. Knight about a chronic pain in my right thumb. He was very thorough in his explanation of the problem, and clearly laid out the pros & cons of all my options. I really liked that Dr. Knight used state of the art equipment, but also had excellent bedside manor and did not use the technology as a crutch. His staff is courteous, professional and prompt. The surgery in my right hand performed by Dr. Knight was a great success. Prior to the surgery, I continuously had severe numbness and pain in my right hand wrist up to the shoulder. The diagnosis was carpel tunnel syndrome, tendonitis and impeachment of the shoulder. After surgery, my hand felt much better and I am very satisfied with the great work. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Jon Knight or recommend him highly enough. When I woke up with a freak injury to my right thumb (I must have been fighting ninjas in my sleep, because my hand was extremely swollen and painful upon waking with no known causation), I was first sent by my internist to another hand specialist. After experiencing symptoms in my elbows/wrist/hands I searched online for an orthopedic doctor who could help me. Dr. Knight's website came up and I immediately knew he was the doctor for me. I have had wrist problem for a very long time and seen multiple doctors. Most doctors wanted to do surgery until I researched best hand surgeon on line and stumbled with Dr.Knight website. His website was very impressive and decided to make an appointment. Best experience ever! It started with a very pleasant staff who was able to get me soon to see the doctor. Dr. Knight took care of my complicated hand fracture. I was told by another hand surgeon that I needed surgery, but Dr. Knight chose a conservative plan with casting. After six weeks my scaphoid fracture had healed. Dr. Knight was attentive, confident. And responsive throughout He also uses advanced imaging (I had plain films and a CT) and I had a removable cast.
