Horrible!!! My wife and I unfortunately chose Planet Home to remodel our kitchen. Once we started we felt we were trapped in contractor hell, starting with the high pressure sales pitch from the "Project Manager" and the hand written contracts which did not end up covering anything but the basics. I found Planet on the internet and I allowed them to come into my property based on the reviews I read online. This was the first time I worked with them and it will not be the last. This company promises "free" in home estimates. They send out a contractor who wont even give a solid number for you. He just says he cant give numbers until he talks to his engineers and after he approves you for finance. They make you sign into a contract with a check that can get cancelled within 3 days if you change your mind. This company was great. They painted the inside of my new home. The color was exactly what my wife had chosen (tiffany blue). I’m so glad she liked it or else she would make them change it. They did such a clean job I was amazed. They didn’t damage any of my home furniture or anything else inside my home. This company really know how to make a customer happy. Based on the research I did I decided to call Planet Home Remodeling to come take a look at my backyard (it needed a major remodel). The reviews written about this company definitely describe this company. They have great leadership which help them finish the job on time. The quality is outstanding (can't complain). This happened in San Diego, but it is the same company. I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate for stucco repair. I was asked about my husband, to which I said "What makes you assume I have a husband?" and refused to answer any questions about him. I got a call the day before the appointment to "confirm for 2:00pm" She asked whether "my husband's name" would be there. Clearly, she had done some research to make sure that I had a husband. When I first contacted Planet Home Remodeling I was not to sure If I wanted to continue to work with them. they asked me my personal address and Am the owner of the property and Etc... i guess they have a reason for asking those questions its for the consumers and their contractors safety. they recently finished remodeling my master bathroom and they did a nice job as promised. hey were very detailed and used quality material.highly recommended company. At first I though that it was a jock when I called Planet because they scheduled a meeting for me in the same day, but I was impressed Gary was great he was on time and gave me a lot of information. He was a bit disappointed when I told him I am not ready to make my final decision. After meeting with other contractors I called Gary back to start my project Wow!!! great decision he started the project the next day and made sure they finished on time. Thank you Planet. Getting bids from contractors especially on solar paneling because we don’t know that much about it and we’re getting information from various solar companies. I have used Planet before for my house remodeling just lately they remodeled my kitchen. I am very happy with the results. The quality of work was great. They really used fine wood for my cabinets and the counter tops look amazing with it. The color combination and all the little details look great together. The company represents itself as being very reputable and helpful. They have you sign a contract right up front and give them a check however. But they do say that it won't be cashed until work has begun. You have 4 days to cancel the contract. They will also try to help you get a line of credit on your house to take care of the remodeling on your house. Sounds great, right?
