Once you sign up they will not ever let you cancel. You can call and confirm that it has been canceled but they keep charging you a VERY HIGH FEE month after month and threaten a $250 cancellation fee. When starting the online business I chose (Vemma),signing up with Powerhouse Payments was a requirement. I didn't make any money in the first 30 days so I tried cancelling the account. I needed an inexpensive way of accepting credit cards. They were able to help me set it up through my phone!! They were very nice from start to finish. If I have a any questions I can call. They are always so nice and it feels good to see that they care about my business. Unlike square where you need a twitter account and no one to talk to. I set this up to be able to charge credit cards but have never recouped all the fees they charged me. DO NOT USE. Then when I tried to cancel the account, I got the run around for months while they sucked 32.45$ out of my account each month after all the start up fees and annual fees. I signed up with a business to work at home. Never sold the first thing and never used the Powerhouse Merchant acct.Before first month was up, I contacted Powerhouse to cancel my membership. This company has the poorest customer service and can be a scam. I was searching for a merchant account and saw Powerhouse payments online. I completed my application. For 5 business days I never received anything from this company. Never received an email nor a call from a representative. I tried calling the 800 # on their website but it gives out extensions.
