I have spent the last 20 years of my life trying every single diet fad, diet plan and diet system ever invented. I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. I'd go on a diet, lose the weight only to gain it back and then some. The constant ups and downs which I saw as failures began to wear on me. A little over two months ago I decided to have the lap band surgery. For well over 2 years, I researched the procedure, the product and many doctors. 5 years ago I decided to have the Lap Band procedure. I went to one Dr. and had the worst possible experience and almost gave up. I decided to go to one more Dr.and called Dr Liu's office and got right in. The staff was great and still is, they made my mom and I both feel comfortable with making this life changing decision. Simply the best. If you are looking for a Lap Band Surgeon, look no further. Dr. Liu is an excellent surgeon. The office staff is prompt, courteous and very friendly. I have been nothing but pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Carson Liu and his staff. I appreciate how efficient and friendly him and his team are. I really appreciate how quickly I can be seen if I have an emergency. I have no need to worry because I know that I will be taken care of whenever need be. I'm so happy I chose Dr. Carson Liu as my bariatric doctor. I met him 10 years ago when he was at UCLA and the LapBand didn't exist, yet... He smirked at me and asked why I was there. Almost 3 years ago I walked into Dr. Carson Liu's office for a seminar that he was having. I was scared, nervous, and embarrassed. Dr. Liu came in gave his speech about the procedure and all that it entailed. Dr. Carson Liu and his staff are professional and empathetic. They have made my whole lap band experience a positive one. I've always heard great things about Dr. Liu. When I was given a list of surgeons to choose from, he was at the top of the referral list.
