Scheduled these guys for a tune up and cleaning in the beginning of November when I sold my house. They said they couldn't come until the 29th of November. The sale of my home required their service to be completed. On the morning of my appointment, they call and cancel and basically say that I'm not a priority...Because they have customers with no heat and I'll have to be rescheduled. Call them for a plugged drain clean out. They won't do it until they bring the plumbing "up to code" on a 35 year old home. Quote to bring it up to code $1650. I paid them their $120. and sent them on there way.. Great scam to make money if your can get it. Never use them ever. Read More »

My water heater broke and flooded my basement. This company overcharged me $1000 over the retail price of a hot water heater which I discovered the day after it was installed. I won a "consolation prize" of a free furnace and AC tune-up from Blind & Sons during a contest at WNIR's radio. The tech came out on May 28 and asked if we could only do the AC tune up (he said it was going to be too hot in my attic to work on the furnace and he had a busy day ahead of him). He completed the job in 90 minutes and said that the AC unit was old but in great condition. Mike Dee of Blind and Sons provided great timely service for our non-functional furnace. Mike explained in detail the issue and was very courteous throughout the service call. Blind & Sons did an excellent, professional job with my air conditioning service today. Erin from Customer Service called and verified that the service technician would be there at the appointed time. I then received an e-mail confirming the call as well as the name and picture of the technician, Mike Dee. Mike called a few minutes before his arrival to again confirm.
