I first contacted Tax Group Center in the Spring of 2021 after receiving several letters from the IRS owing a total of $12,266 for 2018 and 2019. Tax Group Center told me they could help me get my taxes reduced and taken care of for a fee of a few thousand dollars or even get my taxes reduced. I was referred by a friend that had a great experience working with this company. The results he mentioned sounded too good to be true. I was skeptical but called for a consultation. My last CPA got me in hot water with the IRS . 2 years of tax returns were rejected and caused balances that put me in collections with the IRS. I had no idea what was going on or what to do. Since then I've been using them for bookkeeping and tax preparation and they always do a great job very efficient and very fast as well. SCAM ALERT! When I first called them I spoke to their sales associate Mike Jackson. I was EXTREMELY specific about my situation and even told him time was of the essence. I hired TGC on 4/10/19 to handle some tax issues I had in 2012 & 2015, NO actual work was done on my case besides a questionnaire and follow up phone calls. I sent my paperwork back in on 6/19/19. I unfortunately have had tax problems for the last 10 years. I worked with a couple of the other Tax Relief company's without receiving any relief at all. Every time I needed her she responded in a very timely fashion. The dollar amount owed to the IRS was overwhelming and unbearable but she worked out an offer and compromise and everything turned out amazing. I have referred other people. I was so far behind in taxes and had not filed in years so I was filled with trepidation when I called the tax group, so sure that I would be rejected by them or not helped enough.
