Brooke is a rare find in a contractor. Besides installing in little less than a week an absolutely gorgeous travertine shower where before stood a dinky bathtub/shower combo, he was also reliable, straightforward and extremely helpful. I came across Solid Foundation Tile and Stone as a recommendation by my management company when I suddenly needed to redo a master bathroom in my Carlsbad home. I have VERY picky tenants and a home that I had taken great pride in restoring. Solid Foundation Tile did a beautiful job tiling over my dated brick fireplace. Brooke, the owner, has a great eye, and helped direct us toward the perfect material and corresponding grout color. He was not pushy at all, simply offering his advice and letting us make the decision. The fireplace turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Solid Foundation is more than a tile and stone company. Brooke Gowen and his staff take pride in providing an artistic, beautiful finished product that exceeds expectations. They have completed a fireplace, granite-tile countertop and back-splash in our home. Each project was done with our wishes and concerns in mind, and in an efficient, clean manner.
