I broke the coax connection on my Samsung tv. Rather than try to solder the connection stud back on, I decided to replace the board (not the cheap route but better than my solder skills). I installed the new board and got the backlight blink. I put my board back in and the tv worked. So I called these guys. Left a message. No returned call. I emailed. No response. A couple of weeks ago a couple brought in a vizio 60 inch tv that they wanted to recycle. I agreed to take it and asked what was the issue with the tv. The gentleman said that it wasn't getting any power, and that it was probably a quick fix. I looked up common issues with that particular model, and the main one was the power supply. I ordered and received a Vizio LED driver from TVPartsGuy.com. The LED driver board was dead on arrival. The part was listed as used, and physically labelled as tested by TVPartsGuy. This leads me to believe it stopped working between the time it was tested and when I received it, or the original test was faulty. I had a phillips 55 inch that was donated to me by someone who was having problems with it. Most likely due to the fact that she left it on 24/7 for a few years. It worked fine for a while for me but eventually just did not start. A quick google search showed me that I needed to check the fuse first and then replace the power supply if it did not work. I ordered a power control board from TV Parts Guy. Received it after about a week but when I inspected it, it looked like it was a refurbished item (not as described). Then at further inspection, it was missing a few capacitors that the original had. Quick look = Competitive prices, fast delivery, clean tested product, warranty and return process. I would not hesitate to recommend TvPartsGuy.com. I recently had a Vizio LCD power supply go bad, and found out that I was just 3 months outside the warranty on the TV.
