I book a trip to LAX 4 days ago. When I signed, the confirmation indicated that I will be picked up at 8 PM and dropped at LAX at 9:15 PM. MY flight time was 10:20 Pm. I got a email few hrs before the pick up time stating that I will be picked up early at 7:45 PM then an other stating will be picked up at 8:45 then an other stating will be picked up at 8:52. We have used Shuttle2LAX for several years. They say they book you on any available ride in the category you book. We usually book shared ride vans as they are most affordable. It has always ended up being Prime Time shuttles. Shuttle2LAX only books/processes prepayments, but the service provided is strictly the company they end up booking you on. My booking reservation meant absolutely nothing. My trip was assigned to PimeTime Shuttle saying their van would be in the area ready to collect me within 15 minutes. Upon arrival at LAX they informed me it would about 20 minutes. After 45 minutes they said it would be at least another 20 minute wait but couldn't confirm it because there was no one else to combine for my direction (Redondo Beach). They left us stranded at the airport. The plane was delayed more than an hour coming in to LAX. The driver couldn't contact us. Once we landed we made four attempts to contact the company. They didn't answer the phone, respond to texts or e-mail. They left us to fend for ourselves. We had to arrange other transportation to get home. They deserve a zero rating. Take a cab, use Uber or Lyft don't use this company. They have no sense of customer service. They abandon us!!! Read More »

This is one of the worth shuttle company you can get. I'm traveling a lot and transportation cost to LAX is very important. Also even more important is reliability and trustworthy of the company. Reliability this company is NOT. 1.Couple of month ago I was waiting outside my home in HB for 15min. and only after that I received a call from them about broken van and there are no substitute was provided. In good faith we signed up for Shuttle2LAX. They provided no means to cancel or contact them in case of unforeseen problems. We panicked when we found out our flight was later than we thought. The website provides only email to contact them. I sent two emails to contact them that we would be late; one from their website and one from my gmail. They did not reply. SHUTTLETOLAX DOES PROVIDE A LOW COST SOLUTION FOR GETTING TO LAX BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPEED IS NOT THEIR GOAL. Shuttle contracts service out in our case it was PRIME TIME. The pickup was fine but I paid double for this service and took the basic home. The van was dirty and in total disrepair. I am compelled to write this review because after being a repeat customer I got no help when I did have a problem. I had a delay of 2 hours after I landed at the airport. While I looked at the next shuttle group over they had 3 vans going to my area pass on by! This happened twice now by the way. The shuttle attendant told me to call in to customer service to see if they can give a discount on a voucher. I recently booked a reservation through Shuttle2LAX.com because I saw their commercial on TV. It was easy to do online. When the shuttle arrived at my house, I was really confused because it was a van from another company and the driver had a shirt with another company's name on it and everything. We recently used Shuttle2LAX for a trip to France. The pickup went flawlessly and we arrived at LAX in plenty of time to check in. When we returned 11 days later, our plane was 40 minutes late - but again, there were no problems. The company representative was very easy to find after exiting baggage claim. I really liked this service. The price was really cheap and it was easy to book. This time my reservation was given to Prime Time Shuttle and they did a good job. It is a little bit scary not knowing what company you are going to get, but Prime Time is a reputable company that has been around forever, so I wasn't worried once I found out it was going to be them. I was a little nervous about using this service, but I didn't have any problems. The shuttle arrived within the pickup window promised and I got to the airport on time. On the way home, I had to wait outside baggage claim for about 20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive then we went around the airport once in heavy traffic to pick up other passengers. I saw a billboard for Shuttle2LAX on the 405 and decided to give it a try. I went online to look for a phone number, because I always prefer to transact business over the phone rather than the computer, but could not find one. I did the online reservation system. I ran into one hiccup, but there was an operator available on live chat to assist me. The shuttle driver did not follow my instructions to not take the ferry which cost precious time. I missed my flight and had to spend an extra 4 hours at LAX waiting for the next flight. The driver also got "lost" when picking up the next passenger. Not a reliable service. Read More »
