After getting Re-org'ed in 2006 I joined Background Screener's of America as a Consultant in 2007. I also participate in the drug testing business offered by the parent company. I have personally invested my monies in this business and find the owner, VP & all other personnel & business affiliates to be the most reputable, friendly and customer oriented people I have ever worked with. I would be very wary of this company. I inquired about it and after a brief discussion a couple of times they said I was a great candidate and offered a slight insight into the biz. As I was doing my due diligence and asked a few questions that any lawyer would suggest you ask of any business you are considering suddenly they became less accommodating. I recently inquired about the Background Screeners of America business. Prior to talking to anybody at the company, I did as much checking as I could and found comments about them on TrustLink. I was of course concerned that a couple of people had negative things to say about a person they had talked to at the company, but nevertheless I sent in an inquiry about the business. I am so distraught over the start up business Background Screeners of America.. If you had a different experience please respond. I really wanted to invest and partner with Background Screeners of America. It's an excellent idea for a business. The only problem was that Jerry, the Vice President of the company became very upset when I asked him questions. Is this normal? I was very interested in this company. I enjoyed an hour conversations with Jerry, and I was looking for more information. I sent a list of questions, pertaining to average sales numbers, industry trends, etc. My response was that they didn't like the questions, and recommended that I continue my search else where.
