Ben is a wonderful lawyer and a great person. He was extremely helpful with my home loan modification and my bankruptcy. Very patient with all my questions and ready to take care of all the details. I found my way to De Novo by reading internet reviews. Glowing accounts of their service got me down to see them. After several years worth of mortgage company issues, De Novo was able to close a modification deal and save the day. Ben and Peggy were skilled and personable to work with. Bankruptcy is an incredibly frightening process...even to just think about. It took me way too long to move forward partly because of "who do you trust?" Filing bankruptcy was the hardest decision for me to make, I have always paid my bills, but after thirty years working for one company I was laid off. I recently hired De Novo Law Firm for some legal matters and have to say that Ben (the lead attorney) handled my case professionally and effectively. The only occasional drawback was that he is busy and sometimes took a little extra nudging until he returned my email/call etc. But other then that, he always answered my questions clearly and helped a great deal. I waited far longer than I should have to get help with my debt. I had no idea what my options were and spent way too much time worrying about what I should do. Benjamin put me at ease right away by explaining my options for bankruptcy and a loan modification in terms very easy to understand.
