horrible experience with this company. when I first spoke to "Ben" on the phone he estimated my move at $1,148. Then calls me 3 days before the move that they "accidently overbooked" the moved. stating that they will have to either cancel the move or charge $1400 for the move. The best move ever! My wife & I have moved a number of times and we can honestly award the mover as the best. they showed up on right time and immediately started their procedure. These guys worked at prompt pace. They never stopped until they were done. The most impressive was that they wrapped all of our belongings. While talking about Low Cost Moving one thing I must mention that they provide a lot more than what they charge. I have recently used this company while moving to my new apartment. The sales girl Carri offered me a great deal and were very nice over the phone. Stephan and his guys were very punctual, friendly, helpful, skilled, committed, speedy and most importantly willing to give their best. Low Cost Moving did move for us 2 months ago. We requested storage service and were told that our goods will be delivered upon our request. Few days ago we contacted them as we are ready in our new house and wanted our goods as soon as possible. The rep said that it will be delivered only after 7 days from our phone call. This company was not inexspensive and they destroyed more then they delivered safely. And upon claiming items they refused 75% of what was submitted. I asked for one thing to be absolutely covered and I'd waive all else, and they have taken 120+ days to tell me they'll give me $21 for a $600 item. They packed into their truck, and it was destroyed upon arrival. I had to have it fixed for $150, and it'll never be the same. Read More »

This moving company was awful to say the least. The sales rep said there was one rate and that it would not change, yet the driver arrived and increased it by over two dollars/cu ft and increased the cu feet by 200 before even putting it on the truck. My move was picked up and delivered the same day and the movers were great. Even though not much could go wrong on such a short move I have read some real nightmare reviews about some companies and this was not one of them. My price was set and did not change and the driver even supplied me with a few boxes at no extra charge. Everybody was very nice and professional. We are very pleased to say that our move with Low cost Moving Services was as good as it gets as far as moving goes. They actually showed up exactly when they said they would, called us several times to confirm our day, went beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were delivered in two days like we requested. I'm going to stick with Low Cost moving for all my moves in the future. I chose them pretty much based on price and reviews, but they were just fantastic. Pickup- was on time, professional, polite and friendly. They dis-assembled all the furniture and loaded it all. Except i didnt get a call untill the Day before my move at 6:30pm, that made me nervous Post Delivery- Was OK....I had to do more of the calling to get updates. Delivery - also on time. We found Low Cost Moving to be a very cost effective alternative to the major van lines. The price was nearly 40% less than that of united or mayflower and the service provided left us wanting for nothing.
