Group One Construction is combative, litigious and difficult to work with. The owner is charming when courting customers, sending bottles of Silver Oak wine and boasting about how much he's saved prior customers. Many of the jobs he cites as his own were from a company he was employed by, not Group One. And that employer sued him — and got a jury verdict against him — for theft of company data.
