Flex Seal products, in my opinion, are a TEMPORARY fix at best. I've tried the spray and tape and both lasted about 6 months before failing. Tried to fix two leaks on a garden hose. Turned off water/dryed the area, applied the clear tape. It was a total failure when the hose was turned on. I believe the TV ads are done in extremely well controlled situations. Don't get your hopes up! Read More »

I placed an order on 6/27 and I have sent Flex Seal multiple email's requesting an estimated delivery date. I have not heard from them so I decided to call. I spoke to a rude Customer Service Rep (7/3) who was no help at all. She told me I could "probably" see my delivery in an additional 30+ days. I told her that was absolutely unacceptable. Was spraying Flex Seal to seal seams in a can when it exploded. My entire arm was burned bad. I'd like to attach pics but no option for that. Cannot figure what set it off. Used on gutter seam leaks applied to the interior of gutters did`nt apply to the exterior surface. It coated everything but the leaks still pin hole drips after 2 applications, and the over sprays horrible, I wasted product on areas that did`nt need covering ( because of the can inst. to hold 8-12" away from surface to be sprayed). I ordered and paid for 2 jumbo cans of Flex Seal product on 6/23/2017. I was charged $49.91. $19.94 of that charge was for shipping and handling. I called their customer service line and an automated system walks me through when my order was placed and shipped and when I should expect to receive it. If you make any mistake on an online order you cannot change it even though is says you can change at checkout....NOT If you call in you get a robot that is no help at all. I have seen all the info commercials on flex seal. So I decided to try it out on my Aerobed air mattress. ' After 4 applications of the clear, the mattress still has an air leak. I used Flex Seal on a pair of rubber wader boots. I had a hole in each so I patched the hole and sprayed over the top where there was some dry rot (roughed up the area with sandpaper also). I let it cure for about 6 days. Within minutes of starting to walk, it peeled off all over. Does not really "flex". Read More »

First off ... the five-star rating has NO negative options. In the case of Flex Seal, a minus 17,0003 is still too high. ALL of the negative reviews I've read here are true. I agree with Paula's S & P. Don't EVEN get close to the submit page if changing your mind! I didn't order, got a confirmation email anyway, then was told by phone that the order probably wouldn't be shipped. Well, I have just tried the product - so am on a wait and see basis regarding how the products actually works. However, for those pondering a purchase, their "Buy One, Get One Free" is a bit of a stretch. The processing fee for the 2nd can is $9.95. They then charge you a shipping fee of $9.95. DO NOT ORDER ON-LINE FLEX SEAL. Everyone's story about Flex Seal is accurate to my experience. You get a double order and almost $80 is charged to your account. I really did not believe all of the negative posts about this company, but let me tell you they are all true. They double bill you for product, They ship twice what you ordered, They ship way after they tell you they shipped. Flex Seal is a total rip-off; don't waste your hard-earned money on this crap. Don't be lured into buying this product watching the guy in commercial using the Flex Seal to attach a screen door to the bottom of a boat. I had to report this company to the Better Business Bureau. They asked for credit card information at the start of the order. then you go through a series of products that they want you to order. Once you click through that crap you have purchased the products!!! They don't let you know the shipping cost or taxes. They don't give you a chance to say that you confirm the order. Don't do business with this company. You CANNOT order just one can of product. The minimum order is $39.89. The only problem is that the company does not disclose that there is a minimum order amount...until you see your "order confirmation" does not match what you ordered. I had the same exact experience as Glynn T. Chose not to order for the reason stated below, but the order still went through. When I went back out to the site to get the customer service number a second order was placed on my behalf and I didn't even touch the order button.
