I recently passed the Ca. Private Investigator's course. All I did to prepare was read the book, The California Private Investigator, by Shaun Sundahl. It not only prepared me for the test, but for the opening the business. In April 2017 I took the California P. I. Exam for the first time and passed with flying colors. I was allotted two hours for the exam and finished it in just over thirty minutes. I attribute my success, 100%, to the thorough study material that I purchased from Mr. Sundahl. I was a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for over 20 years. If you weren't aware, the PI license test is one of the longest and most difficult out of all the BSIS exams; and Law Enforcement Officers can't really draw on their experience to answer the questions (as the exam questions are written for private investigations, not law enforcement investigations). I used the test simulator as my main study guide. I took the quizzes reviewed them then retook the next day. Worked my way through them all in this manner over two weeks. I also read the book THE CALIFORNIA PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR: MANAGING AN INVESTIGATION AGENCY. Between the information from the book and practice quizzes and using solid multiple choice question testing techniques I passed the first time I took the test. This was money very well spent! If you are looking to pass the Private Patrol Operator test, you NEED Shaun Sundahl's book! After reading this well-written & concise book, I took the five Simulator tests. I recently passed my PI's exam on the first try and I wanted to thank Sundahl & Associates for their invaluable training material. The online study material was invaluable in that it helps you to understand the rule of law that pertain to each subject that you will be tested on. My first experience with taking the PPO was nerve wrecking. I truly studied the private security guide along with the BSIS California Consumer affairs regulation booklet. The questions thrown at me were not on any of the study material the state provided. I knew the portions I studied and took educated guesses on other questions that were not familiar. On the first try I took the P.I with the B.S.I.S and passed!!!! Sundahl and Associates Inc. study materials definitely help me passed this test the first time- no doubt. The study materials were well rounded and on target with what was on the actual B.S.I.S test. I took the PI Exam the first time and failed. I had purchased study guides and studied diligently. However, when I took the exam, it was nothing like the study guides I purchased, so it was like taking the test blind. On my second test, I purchased the Sundahl tutorials and I easily passed. The PPO simulator and study material provided by Sundahl & Associates is priceless for anybody who is serious about receiving their PPO license. After just 2 days of taking the practice exams and reviewing the study guide I felt confident that I would pass the PPO exam. I had spent over $400 trying to find the right study material to pass the exam. I took the exam a year ago and failed. Two days before I retested this month I found the Crime Bulletin Website. I spoke with Shaun and with his assistance and his study materials I passed the exam with flying colors. The Simulator and Pre Tests were so helpful. On December 2011 I studied the PPO simulator and took the PPO exam for the second time and was happy to pass with a high score. For my first try at the exam, I had studied the BSIS black book and the booklets that they provided me. I wanted to take a second to recognize Shaun Sundahl and Sundahl & Associates, Inc. He has put together a one stop approach to studying for the California BSIS PPO exam. Your system was an excellent tool for exam preparation. I'd recommend it to anyone studying for the CA PI exam, especially as a solid element of a well rounded study program as recommended by BSIS. Just when I thought I was ready to take the PPO test and pass it with flying colors, was I EVER sadly mistaken!!! I have used both PPO and PI Simulators. I was able to pass the PPO exam on first try and currently preparing for the PI exam. I have found both outstanding, very instructional, relevant and current. I used the practice test as provided by Shaun of Sundahl and Associates. It helped to give me an idea about what the actual test would be like. I used Shaun's 3 section course, and passed the real test. Shaun gives prompt customer service via text message or email via the contact information provided on his site.
