Had salesperson talk to husband and I joined conversation. He promised that wasps/hornets would be taken care of as well as all the spiders. He explained they use pet-friendly chemicals so we decided to try them. He showed back up with first visit and I was impressed. They knocked down wasp nests, and went thru house. Promised to inspect attic for rats did not do so. Spray was supposed to be animal friendly. After spraying my dog developed allergy costing over $300.00 dollars in Vet bills. Have not captured any rodents and flying pests have increased a lot. Called to cancel was told cancelation fee of $200. would apply. a salesman came to my door saying they will be doing work at my neighbors's home and that they have time in between appointments. I agreed to do an initial cleaning for 50.00 and that I did not want any future treatments. I wrote a check to do so in lieu of credit card for the purpose of any future charges. Total Ripoff. Negative star If I could. This is a Con , they are not really into pest control business. Do not trust this company. It is a total ripoff.Door to door salesman will sell a contract and will tell you that you can cancel the contract anytime. but what he will not tell you is that there is a contract cancellation fee which is not less ten $250 in any case. Do not believe the Ecoshield salesperson or purported owner that may knock on your door selling their service. The Echoshield salesman told me that I was only signing up for the initial and the second treatment, which was fine. I did not read the contract, instead trusting the salesman who claimed to be the owner, my mistake. It seems that I am now contracted for a full years worth of their service, an extra $350.00.
