Lived all my life on the east coast, and as daunting as a move that long is, Adam at Eco gave me the sense of security and best tips for a cross country move. After contacting eco van lines, I was happy to find out that the consultant I spoke with gave me exact details about the move with much patience, and gave me a reasonable rate for loading my things. They came to pick up my things on time and notified me when they were an hour away so as not to leave me waiting around for the movers. I was moving to Louisiana for a job opportunity I had there, and my company used Eco vanlines to relocate me. I spoke to Soul, my relocation consultant, and told her all that I had, and she gave me a quote. Sending my daughter to college was tough on me, but I wanted to make things easier on her by hiring movers to move her into her new apartment, but I didn't want to make things too difficult on my wallet. We were selling our summer home, and needed the furniture to be put in storage for some months before we could move it into our home, so I was looking for a company that had good rates going on storage. I didn't have such a long distance move, but it was state to state, so I didn't want to use a local mover. Most of the larger companies were way too expensive for such a short distance move, but Eco had really good rates. They were experts in packing everything and loading it up on the truck. I had moved many times before, but this move would be a bit more complicated since I had a lot of fragile items that needed special care. I found the love of my life but the only problem was that he lives all the way out in Arizona. What's a girl to do, but move there? THE WORST. THIS "COMPANY" HAS NO SENSE OF A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. They missed my move date which was a Friday. They aren't open on Saturdays. And even though I left numerous voice mails and emails from Friday to Sunday, no one could call me back. This experience has been horrible and it is only half over! They have my stuff! NOTHING BUT FALSE ADVERTISING! Customer service to provide an estimate was very attentive. Sonya called several times to follow up and see if I wanted their service. Once I paid a deposit, Sonya was NEVER available again even though the binding estimate stated that she would be with us through the entire move. I accepted a job out in the west coast but they needed me out there immediately, so I had to move super fast. Eco was able to accommodate my move less than 3 days in advance, which I was grateful for. And they didn't try and charge me extra for such short notice, like other companies did. Moving a three bedroom home is never easy, especially when moving cross country. I liked that Eco's main branch was in Jersey, and they gave a phenomenal price for a full packing service. I move a lot, for my job, and have dealt with, over the years, many moving companies. Eco-Van Lines by far has been the easiest company to deal with. My sales representative, Sam had a lot of patience for my ever changing inventory, and never forgot to call me when I told him to. I got pretty good service using Eco VanLines. I would say the whole move was pretty painless. I gave a list of my items and gave them an estimate of how many boxes i thought i would have. The day before my move i got a phone call giving me a time as promised, and i was also able to call my representative to update my list. More then anything, I care more about the honesty from these moving companies. I really don't like playing any games, ESPECIALLY when your dealing with my property and my money.
