We spoke to them originally in October, evaluated multiple companies, and ultimately decided on Solar Center based on the financials, knowledge of the sales person, and their overall flexibility and service. Mike was our sales person, and he was very good at answering any of our questions, and resolving any issues that we encountered. I went solar with them nearly 6 months ago and it was a wonderful decision. I had decided to do this as part of remodeling my house before LA kicked in with its own rebate. That was a very nice bonus. But, the biggest bonus was working with Solar Center. They do excellent work, have ALWAYS been easily reachable on the phone and via e-mail, and have done thorough and free follow-up work, even when it wasn't directly related to their system. My wife and I live west of Simi Valley. Solar Center installed a 2.5 KW rooftop solar panel system in the fall. We couldn't have been more pleased when we received our first Edison statement---the electric charge on the first month's bill was $0! The guys at Solar Center made the process of going solar as effortless as could be. These guys are great. No creepy sales schpeel. No BS. We finally got a solar system and now I can feel good about doing my part to save energy :) They did the design and installation so the whole process was simple and streamline.
