These guys are not honest and will overcharge you. That is what happened to us and then when we asked to get reimbursed they never did. They held all of our belongings hostage until we paid them the entire amount and declined to reweigh it because they knew we were overcharged. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! They are the "shadiest bunch I've ever dealt with", and I've moved more than a few times, so I'm very aware of the "subcontracting", and "cargo weight vs. value" clauses they try and stick you with. Please read Kim S. review for a very good breakdown of this moving company. My wife was strong armed to sign a 'revised' quote upon loading, which by the way was four days later than agreed upon. The lead mover Kenneth, cursed at my wife and told her he hoped she would die after she pointed out the floor damage in our just sold house. (Which also cost me money to repair). I'm glad these others had such positive experiences; however, my father moved from California to Oregon and dealt with a gentleman named Serge who apparently had NO IDEA what he was doing in quoting the moving price. My father did his research with different companies and decided on Grand Moving because they would match another company but get the delivery to Oregon sooner. Moving sucks and will probably always suck, but these guys are really nice and they're good at their job, so that's a plus! They were able to change the date of our move at the last minute (a not-so-minor miracle for the last weekend move they had great attitudes, they worked hard, and they didn't break anything. Sure they were a little out of my budget but most decent movers are, and these guys were actually worth it. Would definitely hire them again. Read More »

I moved about a year ago with some company and I can't explain how bad my experience was. So this time I made sure I did my research. I got a quote from grand moving and they werent pu goodshy like other companies. They picked up my goods and delivered them as promised, they were a little late but I can't really fault them on his that as LA traffic can be really bad. Read More »

Just recently moved with Grand Moving & Storage and I had a really positive experience. They were very professional from beginning to end. They picked me up on time and wrapped up all my furniture with blankets and protected my protected my mirrors for no charge because they were running a promotion.
