Spoke with a salesperson and asked for a quote. Followed up 4 times over a few weeks and still nothing. Asked for a different salesperson, still they send me back to the same guy. The service and delivery time were outstanding.I chose their artisan-created firepit for design, price and function and I will display it in a front yard sculpture garden as a work of art (see NYC MOMA art garden). I spent more than $900 on a gas fireplace kit. After three service calls from my installer, we realized it had a defective valve. Did Woodland Direct give a damn? Hell no. All they wanted was the stupid serial number. No word on when they would supply a new one. And my contractor is nearly finished with the job. I'll never deal with this company again. Read More »

Took more than a month to receive item (not even here yet) and their carrier will NOT provide a time window for delivery. All they say is "between 10am and 6pm," period. So unless you're not in a hurry, and someone is always home, beware. Read More »

What a nightmare. In summary The unit instead of being 80% efficient was extremely inefficient and could not be modified. They promised to take it back for a full refund but then trumped up a claim of "Shipping Damage" even thought the pictures showed the unit to be undamaged and intact; except for a quarter inch spot near the door pin where the paint flaked off. They made me pay ($310) for and arrange for the return shipping, So they say I have to fight with the shipping company for damages.... Read More »
