Rick Maisel was a trusted friend whom I had known for many years. When he came to me and asked me to loan him money so that he could finish his mini-robot assistant and his acrylic tank for use in his Escape Act, I hesitated, but with absolute reassurance given by Rick that he would make good on the repayment of the loan, I did loan him the funds he needed to complete these projects.
