Save yourself the disappointment and future surgeries and don't come here. Dr. Marco Sariñana did a horrible job on my breast lift and other surgeries. So much so that I will have to have additional surgeries to fix what he destroyed. Yes, DESTROYED!! If Dr. Sariñana was in the US, I would be suing him for malpractice. I had my tubal ligation reversal on 21st February, 2020. Firstly the hospital is very clean. The staff are very courteous, pleasant and helpful. The food was good. I went by myself and I must say that I was pampered. It felt like home away from home. Even the driver, Mr Alfonso was pleasant and very helpful. My surgent did a great job, surprisingly I didn't feel pain. The odd times when I cough I felt a little thing. I will return there for any treatment/ surgery that I may need in the future... Short version, I had bariatric surgery and ended up with a thin spot (hernia) and after flying back and paying to have that fixed it still came out horribly painfully. After being told I was imaging things and crazy they agreed to fix it (no American doctor I talked to would touch me because I went to Mexico) I fly back again for them to tell me they couldn't see anything so they wouldn't help me. Excellent customer service the staff answered all of my questions. Traveling to Baja CA was a breeze the driver Daniel was courteous and punctual. When my husband and I arrived to the hospital we were greeted by staff. Who answered all of our questions & thoroughly explained the treatment. At the beginning of 2017 my husband and I made the decision to look into tubal reversal surgery. I had a neck lift in march and was overall happy with everything. There were a few bumps along the way but all in all was a good experience. Carlo co-ordinated everything and most of the plans went well. I was very nervous but when I walked into the clinic and seen it was extremely clean and modern I was at ease. I had liposuction performed in mid-March; it is now the end of May and I feel great. My clothes fit so much better, I do not have to shop in the "maternity section", and my confidence is back. This is my 2nd visit to this amazing hospital. The first time was in 2012 with Dr Marco Sarinana. The 2nd time was just a week ago. I have to tell you they have been very consistent in there services. Friendly staff, friendly specialist, not overpriced and above all fantastic quality. In 2011 Dr. Ricardo Llamas performed surgery on my ovary to remove a Dermoid Cyst which had grown to the size of a grapefruit. The Hospital was very clean, and the surgery was a success. I visited Hospital de la Familia and Dr Gaspar Blanco fixed a ginecomastia issue I had (basically enlarged breasts in men). Hospital is very modern and I would say its even better kept than some USA hospitals. Attention was wonderful, felt like in an hotel at times. I noticed that hospitals in the USA are not as well kept as the Hospital de la Familia in Mexicali. From the moment I arrived, the personel at this hospital were very attentive as to my every need and went out of their way to make me comfortable even though there was a slight language barrier. I visited hospital de la familia for a cosmetic surgery. I was pleased with my nurses and the attention they gave me. The number one thing that surprised me was one of the nurses/helpers inside the surgical room. I received a tummy tuck from Dr. Gasper Blanco at the Hospital de la Familia. Dr. Blanco is a great surgeon with a great sense of humor. Hospital de la Familia is a top notch hospital and better than the hospitals that I have stayed at in the States. I didn't expect my diet of not eating meat to be accommodated, but thankfully it was. I went in for a check-up thinking I had some problems with acid reflux. The doctor, Dr. Sarinana, was kind enough to see me the day after Christmas at the hospital. He sent me to do some lab work and an ultrasound. The ultrasound techs were very helpful and the process was immediate. I had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones by Dr. Lopez Neblina. I had excellent attention both in my pre-surgery process and during surgery. The day of surgery (7/9/14), I checked in at 8 am and by 8/9 pm I was on my way home. Nursing attention was great, even the IV went in the first time with nearly no pain (most of the time in past procedures nurses pinch me 3 or 4 times before getting it right). I was greatly pleased with the staff and the service I received. I went in March to get my surgery and conceived in May and am expecting my baby in February. I had one my cervical discs replaced with an M6C device which is state of the art. The experience at Hospital de la Familia was an excellent one. This is a very modern and well run facility. I received surgery at de la Familia a month ago. I recovered well and no problems after surgery. Staffs there are very helpful and responsible. Both medical and administrative staffs came over to check from time to time, to make sure everything is ok with the patient. I had ACL/Repair surgery with Dr Juan Bustamante at Hospital de la Familia in Mexicali BC Mexico. I was very impressed with the service provided by the nurses and the cleanliness of the hospital.
