The people that work for this company are so unprofessional. After they were not able to get my loan modification done, they stopped answer my calls. The first representative, Rod Brown informed me that if they were not able to get the modification done, I would be refunded my money. Well, they were not successful. I have been trying for over 3 years to modify the mortgage on my home. During that time I worked with 2 different lawyers who I paid monthly, totaling over $10,000. They eventually told me it wasn't possible, and of course wouldn't refund my money since they said they earned it. Hey people, my name is Amber and I'm writing this for my father who doesn't like to use the internet. The story here is that Rod Brown TOTALLY went out of his way to take care of business for my dad. I was in a bad situation with my mortgage and about to lose my home. God sent Rod Brown and Consumer Advocates and Associates to my rescue. It took a little time but Rod Brown did everything he said he would do and he's still not finished. I had an interest rate of 7.55%. First they send me a Proposal to bring my interest rate to 3% asked me to send $5200.00 to show my Bank I'm serous about reducing my rate. Well that was a fabrication because they took the money and ran. No Mod but they did hook me up with Keeping your home California good right? Recently I went through an extremely difficult divorce and very nearly lost my home. Rod Brown was able to get the mess with the bank straightened out so I was able to stay in the house at a payment I can afford. I was behind in my mortgage payments for over 13 months, the mortgage servicer refused to receive any partial payment from me; I was in a really bad situation and close to lose my home. Max was the person I dealt with the entire time Consumer advocates was working for me, and he was always very sweet. But I was still so skeptical that I would get my mortgage current and be able to afford the payments, I refused to believe anyone could or would help me. Hugo, Sam, and all the rest of the team came thru for us!!! I was very very nervous when we started the process. And I bugged them at least 2 to 3 times a week. sometimes DAILY!! I’m extremely happy with the way Consumer advocates handled my case. I was nervous at first because everything was handled over the phone, and I didn’t know if they were reputable or not. We obtained a loan modification from CAA back in March for which we paid $6.995.00. It was our understanding our modification would consist of getting our monthly mortgage payment lowered by having the lender agree to take a portion of the principal balance and tack it onto the end of our loan thereby reducing the amount our payments would be based on for a period of time. I was skeptical of this company at first because I had already had so many offers for loan modifications that fell through because I made too much money to qualify. I had given up hope and started a short sale on our home when Sam contacted me. I want to thank all the folks at Consumer Advocates & Associates for all their hard work in getting us a home loan modification that is going to save us a lot of money. The Doctor said it out loud, “Yes he has MS.” My wife didn’t hesitate, “How will affect his life?” “I believe his life will be about the same as normal.” They spoke as if I wasn't in the room. I am so happy I made the decision to work through Consumer Advocates and Associates to get my Mortgage Loan Modified. I tried working with the mortgage company on my own and was turned down for a Home Loan modification. This company Consumer Advocates and Associates, really helped me get through the difficulty I was going through with my mortgage. Not only did they save my house from being foreclosed but they also lowered my interest rate down to 2%. I couldn't be happier with all their help. Consumer advocates and associates was unlike any company I have ever worked with. From the get-go they were extremely professional, always following up whenever I called, and keeping me in the loop of what was happening throughout the process.
