They will tell you that you are approved. You don’t have to make payments while they are processing. But you will have to send them a processing fee each month. They don’t take checks or credit cards. And also they will handle everything. And please don’t talk to loan company. Any loan modification after the 37 days prior to auction/sale date. I called Nationwide Retention Center within 30 days of my auction date. A team of 4 strategically help me coordinate my way through this tedious ordeal I got myself into. No pressure on them. They had the time that was needed to be sure a Loan Modification would be guaranteed to me without having to file bankruptcy or TRO. I called them the week before Christmas and they got on it Immediately. Kyle, our service initiator and director walked me through the process over the phone and helped me to understand what we needed to do and how to do it. Then Danial our manager took it from there and we only needed to provide anything we received from the mortgage company. I see most people had a good experience I however had a bad one with Nationwide retention Center! I was going through a loan modification with my current mortgage servicer. We reached out to NRC to get help with the process. We were approved for a trial mod of 3 payments $897 which Kyle led me to believe would be my payments going forward. Nationwide Retention Center saved me from losing my home. I had been falling behind on my mortgage payments from being sick and my lender suggested I do a loan modification. I was hesitant at first but I found them because I was in foreclosure and did not know what else to do. I had already spoken to some attorneys and they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. Eric & Daniel were both so amazing every step of the way. From the first time I talked to Eric in tears, to my last call from Daniel, telling me we were approved. They put me and my family at ease, and calmed me down every time I needed it. They were both very compassionate and sympathetic to my situation, unlike the bank I was dealing with. Anne Dewell has now helped me with both my loans to save me house. And here's the Kicker- I am a Realtor! They say not to "pay" anyone to help. They say to call directly to Govt. programs and to your bank- but don't bother. My story was such a nightmare it's not even funny, going back to 2009 when I tried to do it myself.
