I switched from Elavon through Costco to Strategic Merchant Solutions. I had detailed conversations with Tyler on very specific issues regarding fees on and rates on non-qualified transactions. He (or his pricing team) did an analysis and said my overall rate should be around 2.3% (this is documented in an email). Perfect. I have been with Strategic merchant solutions for years now. They always answer their calls and assist me with any questions or issues within reasonable time of my call. I have been in retail for over 35 years and have dealt with many companies but nothing compares to my dealings with SMS! Triple A plus service and always somebody there to help if there is a problem.
