The absolute worst and NEGLECTFUL service experience we’ve ever had…and we’ve moved 5 times in the last 10 years- both locally and cross country. Stay FAR AWAY! If you're reading this, and you've yet to hire Midwest Movers, you're in luck. To put it simply, hiring them was the worst decision I've made as a young adult. This company is the most unprofessional bunch of people you will ever work with. They lie, disrespect you, treat you like crap and don’t acknowledge anything related to the contract or delivery times. There 7-10 days they promised turned to seven weeks and they couldn’t even give me a status report. Very rude people and they could care less about you as a customer. Run far away from this company. We were estimated to have over 1800 cuft... they send a 26' rented truck from Enterprise to pack our house! We ended having to spend over $600 on a Uhaul truck, plus gas and tolls in order to get our things moved. And to top that off they charged us an extra $500 "cash" for overage on thei truck and if we didn't pay then they were no allowed to remove our items!!! WORST!!! FRAUDS!!We booked our move from Midwest Movers to move from Illinois to Delaware. They gave us an estimate of USD 2045.00 for the packing and moving of 502 cf, which they only calculated. The pickup was scheduled on October 20th between 8-10 AM. First, nobody showed up on the moving day. At the time of booking we were told in case there is a change in time, we'll be communicated well in advance. They did not inform that there is no pickup in the morning. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU LIKE YOU WOULDN"T BELIEVE.I originally dealt with Roy Matthews he ended up going on temporary leave or they may have been lying about this as well however, I had a pricing discrepancy and the customer service guy who answers the phone(Joseph Brady) told me he was the CEO and president of the company. Midwest Movers showed up early, were pleasant and took the move seriously. They were more careful with my stuff than I am. I have used movers before and been disappointed. Midwest Movers are excellent. First time I have used review sites for a service and the Midwest Movers were exactly as the good reviews said they would be. Definitely a thumbs up! Read More »

Midwest Movers made our move effortless. They were on time, efficient, and professional. The price was decent and the service very friendly. I honestly could not have asked for more.
